Proposal for Bentworth Primary School to become an ARK Academy
Overview
The Governing Body of Bentworth Primary School is in discussion with the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham about the possibility of converting to academy status in September 2012, and the benefits that might bring for the children’s learning. The new academy would be operated by ARK Schools, an education charity which has a proven track record of providing high quality education in inner city areas. The academy would remain a non-selective school for local children and preserve its individual identity. Current staff and pupils would all transfer to the new academy.
Further information about this proposal can be found on the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham website see www.lbhf.gov.uk/bentworth (opens in new window).
